how i became the accidental agent

For nearly 20 years, I’ve been shining a light on incredible individuals and brands.

Industry champion

Early in my career, I started a site celebrating the best work in the PR and creative industry. It became the best-read PR blog in the country. From there came events and parties designed simply to connect people — including bringing hundreds back together after COVID, in the name of charity and a good time.

A career working with the best and brightest

Much of this was built in the late/early hours while my young family slept, alongside a career that saw me grow and eventually sell my agency.

Since my first day in PR in January 2008, I’ve worked with more than 500 of the most prominent entrepreneurs and brands in the world, incorporating talent into campaigns where it added real value.

I’m also the author of Myths of PR, a best-selling book that challenges some of the industry’s most widely held assumptions.

Positivity through tragedy

In February 2025, my youngest brother Jordan took his own life.

It was the hardest period of my life. In time, I channelled that into something positive - a podcast called Project Possible, sharing stories of resilience and what people do with where they started.

The podcast didn’t just help others. It saved me.

On its way to being watched and listened to by millions, it’s also allowed me to build relationships with a wide range of incredible people — from well-known names to those with remarkable, untold stories.

The accidental agent

Across close to 100 episodes, I’ve built relationships with an extraordinary range of people.

Lords and Ladies. Olympic champions and World Cup winners. Some of the world’s most influential creators and inspiring adventurers.

But more than that, these are people I’ve spent real time with - conversations that go beyond the surface, and relationships that have lasted.

It was only when I connected a guest to a significant speaking engagement that it clicked — I’d accidentally become an agent.

Connection, done properly

This isn’t about building an overwhelming roster.

I connect the right people, in the right way, based on real understanding.

If you’re looking for a speaker, talent for a campaign, or something more bespoke, I can help.

Want hilarious? High energy? Inspirational? Somebody that appeals to a particular demographic?

In most cases, I’m only one call or email away from the person you need.

I only make introductions where there’s a genuine fit - and stay close to ensure it works for everyone involved
